Description

This mid-19th century building, originally a house and now a bank, is constructed of painted brick with a slate roof. The symmetrical front facade has three bays, separated by prominent pilasters. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with a sill band interrupted by the pilasters. A central flight of steps leads to a doorway flanked by round-headed windows. The doorcase features a Tuscan pilaster design with a triglyph frieze and mutuled cornice and is topped by a fanlight. A modillion gutter cornice runs along the top of the facade. Chimneys with yellow brick caps are located on the roof, to the left, right, and right of centre. The interior was not inspected. Iron railings are present along the steps and around the front area.
