Description
The Manor House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with later additions and alterations, including a 20th-century extension to the left that is of no particular interest. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond, featuring ashlar dressings and a pantile roof. The house has two storeys and four bays. The entrance, located in the third bay, consists of a six-fielded-panel door with a fanlight, set beneath a porch supported by fluted Corinthian columns, which hold up a frieze and hood. The windows are mainly 16-pane sashes, with a 12-pane sash above the door, all set under wedge lintels and featuring ashlar sills. The building also has ashlar kneelers and coping, as well as end stacks. A Yorkshire fire mark is present on the property.
