Description

Nos 15 and 16 on Main Street are a pair of houses that date from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century extension to the left and an outshut at the rear. They are constructed of pinkish-brown brick with red brick dressings and feature a pantile roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have three windows on the first floor. There are entrances at both ends and on the side, with 4 and 6-panel doors set beneath flat arches made of red brick. There is also a further blocked off-centre entrance. The houses have 16-pane sash windows throughout, with those on the ground floor also placed under flat arches of red brick. A dentil eaves band runs along the roofline, and there are ridge and rear stacks.
