Description

Village Farm is a house located on Heslington Main Street, dating from the early to mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations, including an outshut to the right. The building is constructed of pinkish-brown brick and features a pantile roof. It has a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys high, with three windows on the first floor. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a four-panel door. The ground floor has four-pane sash windows, while the first floor features 12-pane sliding sashes. A two-course band runs across the left gable at the first floor level, and there is a cogged eaves band. The house has ridge and end stacks, and the eaves have been raised.
