Description

This is a mid-19th century outbuilding, later used as a shop and now a house. It has undergone alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick in an English garden wall bond, with a slate roof. The gable faces the street. The ground floor features a continuous timber entablature with pilasters on the left and right, and a shop window with glazing bars set on a brick base. Two recessed doors are located to the left; the right-hand door is set diagonally. Both doors have two raised and fielded panels and an overlight with diagonal glazing bars. A sash window with glazing bars is on the first floor, with a painted lintel above. The interior was not inspected. The building is included for group value with other buildings along this important street frontage.
