Description
The stables to Fulford Hall, located approximately 20 metres to the south-west, date from the mid to late 18th century and feature later additions and alterations. They are constructed of orange-red brick with magnesian limestone ashlar and red brick dressings, topped with a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high, with a central single-bay section that projects forward and three-bay wings on either side. It has quoins and blind elliptical-arched openings throughout, with the central opening featuring a keystone and moulded impost blocks. There is a band at the first floor level and ashlar kneelers, along with additional elliptical-arched openings at the rear.
