Description

Chapel Farm is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick, with a pantile roof. The house follows a lobby-entry plan and has two storeys, displaying three windows on the first floor. The off-centre entrance features a six-panel door, positioned under a blocked overlight within a Roman Doric doorcase. Throughout the house, there are twelve-pane sash windows with stone sills. The building is distinguished by a stepped and dentilled eaves cornice and a swept roofline. A ridge stack is also present.
