Description

The cross in the grounds of Dunnington Rectory is a Grade II listed structure. It features a cross shaft that is likely from the 12th century, topped by the base of a sundial that is reputedly from the 15th century. The cross is square in plan and has a polygonal sundial, standing approximately 1.5 metres high. It includes a plinth and a fluted octagonal shaft. Notably, the sundial does not have a gnomon.
