Description

The Village Cross is a medieval structure located in Dunnington on York Street. It features a shaft made of magnesian limestone ashlar, standing approximately 2 metres high. The cross has a square base and is supported by a stepped plinth. The shaft tapers towards the top and is topped with a ball finial. This cross is a notable historical feature in the area.
