Description

8, 9, and 10 College Street is a terrace of three cottages that now serve as offices, originally built around 1830 but with earlier origins. The building was restored in the late 20th century. It features orange-brown brick in a random bond with timber shopfronts, and has a roof made of tiles and pantiles, along with a diagonally set brick chimney stack.

The exterior is two stories tall with a four-window front. On the ground floor, there are two shopfronts framed by plain pilasters, each with imposts and cornices. One shopfront has a four-panel door, while the other has a glazed and panelled door, both of which include overlights. The shop windows consist of one 20-paned window and one 6-paned window, both with timber sills and brick risers. Additionally, there are canted oriel windows with moulded cornices; one has large-pane glazing and the other has small-pane glazing. The first-floor windows are Yorkshire sashes with eight panes each. The interior has not been inspected.
