Description

Three cottages, now two cottages and a shop, were built in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick with pantile and plain tile roofs, featuring dentillated eaves and three ridge stacks and one gable stack. The two-storey front has eight unequal bays. The windows are 20th-century casements, with ground floor openings featuring segmental heads.

Number 156, on the east side, has a door flanked by single casements to the left. Next is a blocked door, followed by a central door and casements on the right side of Number 156. Further to the right is a blocked window and a blocked door. The shop has two casements and a single-storey addition with a door. Above the shop, to the left, is a small light flanked by single casements, and to their right, a small round-headed casement flanked by two larger casements. To the right again are two casements.

The rear of the building includes a 20th-century lean-to addition with two large casements on the left, and a mid-19th-century lean-to addition on the right.
