Description

Willow Farmhouse and the adjoining outbuilding are located on East Street in Hibaldstow. The farmhouse dates from the early to mid-18th century, while the outbuilding was built in the late 18th to 19th century and raised in the late 19th century. There have been alterations in the 20th century. The farmhouse is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and stacks, and the outbuilding is built in brick, with both structures being colour-washed. The farmhouse features a concrete pantile roof, while the lower outbuilding has concrete tiles.

The layout of the farmhouse includes three rooms with a central entrance hall section to the right, and a two-room outbuilding to the left, which has a blocked entrance adjoining the house. The farmhouse is two storeys high with two first-floor windows. The outbuilding is a single storey with a low two-storey section and has two windows. The main entrance of the house has a recessed 20th-century half-glazed door flanked by replacement plate-glass sash windows, with two similar sashes on the left. On the first floor, there are two similar sash windows and a blocked window to the left. All openings are beneath chamfered concrete rendered lintels. The eaves cornice features stepped and dentilled brickwork, with an axial stack to the left and an end stack to the right.

The outbuilding has a blocked door on the right side, and on the left, there is a ventilation hatch beneath a segmental arch, along with a board door with strap hinges beneath a lintel at eaves level. Inside the farmhouse, the kitchen retains beams on the left and six fielded-panel doors leading to the entrance hall.
