Description
Beechwood Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse that has undergone minor alterations. The front is made of squared limestone, while the sides and rear are constructed from coursed rubble, with brick dressings and stacks. The building is colour-washed throughout and features a pantile roof. The layout consists of three rooms, with a two-room central entrance-hall section on the right, a kitchen on the left, and later single-room additions to the left and rear.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four bays. It includes quoins and a plinth. The 20th-century door is located beneath an inserted concrete lintel and is flanked by single sliding sash windows with glazing bars, all under segmental header arches. To the left, there is a similar blocked window and a small rectangular opening. On the first floor, there is a blind window panel above the door, flanked by single sliding sashes with glazing bars, and a blind window panel to the left, all beneath segmental header arches. The building features a cogged brick eaves cornice, an axial stack on the left, and an end stack on the right.
