Description

The building is a stable and granary located approximately 40 metres south-west of Manor Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century with later alterations. It is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof, featuring a rectangular plan and two storeys. The façade has five first-floor openings arranged symmetrically and is characterized by a chamfered plinth.

The central section, which is largely covered by ivy, projects slightly forward and contains a blocked segmental-arched door on the left. To the left of this section, there are two blocked doors; one has a ventilation hatch, while the other has a casement window above its blocking. These are flanked by three windows that also have similar casements above their blocked lower sections.

On the right side, there is a similar arrangement with an entrance that has a ventilation hatch above a boarded door, a blocked door with a ventilation hatch above, and windows with casements and hatches above their blocked lower sections. All ground floor openings in the side bays feature cambered brick arches.

On the first floor, there is a central hatch with a boarded door above a blocked oculus, along with a 9-pane casement window, a 12-pane sliding sash window, a ventilation hatch, and a boarded window. The building has stepped eaves and brick-coped gables.

The rear of the building includes six boarded doors beneath cambered brick arches, a central blocked doorway with a blocked opening above, and two inserted 20th-century casements to the right. There is also a first-floor boarded hatch door to the left, a 9-pane casement to the right, and four blocked openings. The adjoining ranges to the east are of no special interest.
