Description
The columbarium, located 75 meters southeast of the crematorium at Hedon Road Cemetery in Kingston upon Hull, was built in the early 20th century. It features irregular curving parallel walls made of tufa, brick, and concrete, which are mostly rendered. The structure is approximately 10 meters long and has inscribed tablets of marble and granite affixed to the walls, covering the cells. This columbarium continues the design of an earlier columbarium to the west and complements the nearby crematorium. It is included for its group value.
