Description
The churchyard wall and gate at the Church of St Giles in Kingston upon Hull date from 1959, with some alterations from the late 19th century. The structure is made of coursed squared stone, partly rendered, and features ashlar dressings. On the west side, there is a splayed entrance that has chamfered coping and crenellations, along with short lengths of railing and an off-centre wooden gate. The entrance is flanked by octagonal piers topped with conical caps. The north side of the wall is also crenellated, while the rest of the wall has chamfered coping. This structure is included for its group value.
