Description
The churchyard wall and gates to the west of the Church of All Saints date from the early 19th century and incorporate some materials from the 17th century. The wall is constructed from rock-faced coursed stone and features roll-moulded coping. The main entrance is located to the south and includes square piers topped with double cushion copings, along with cast iron railed gates adorned with floral heads. There is an additional entrance to the north, which has coping that steps over a heavy Tudor arch lintel, possibly from the 17th century, set within plain, inset surrounds and leading to a boarded door. The wall effectively frames the church against the lane and is included for its group value.
