Description

The gate piers, lamp overthrow, and flanking churchyard walls of the Church of St Giles date from around 1800. The gate piers are made of fluted Doulting ashlar and stand 2 metres high, topped with pyramidal cappings that support a wrought iron lamp overthrow. The churchyard walls are constructed from rubble and feature dressed segmental cappings, extending one metre to the west and 15 metres to the east.
