Description
The former laundry at Lee's Rest Houses is a building constructed between 1912 and 1915 by H.T. Hare for the trustees of Dr. C.A. Lee's estate. It is designed in the Neo-Georgian style and is made of red brick with hipped plain tile roofs. The building is single storey plus attics and features a seven-window range. The central block projects and includes five two-light casements, with four box dormers above that have single-pane windows. On either side of the central block are lower wings; the left wing has a round-arched door and a two-light casement, while the right wing has a single door. This building serves as an ancillary structure to Lee's Rest Houses.
