Description
The premises occupied by the Trustee Savings Bank is an early 18th century house featuring a late 19th century front elevation. It has a pantile roof with a coped gable end on the right side. The building is two storeys high with attics and constructed of brick. The moulded gable includes a 2-light attic window situated above a moulded wood cornice. On the first floor, there are three windows in wood cases, with glazing bars present only on the top sash. The ground floor showcases a bank front with four rusticated stone pilasters, two round-headed windows, and a door. The Lairgate elevation also has two storeys, with a ground floor that includes a six-panel door and a reglazed three-light window. The first floor features two windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars.
