Description
No. 6 Lairgate is a mid-19th century building located on the west side of Lairgate in Beverley. It is two storeys high, constructed from red brick, and features a tiled roof with an eaves board. The building has two windows with rendered lintels and sash windows that include vertical glazing bars, along with a cill band on the first floor. The ground floor has a shop front made of wood, which is flanked by narrow pilasters and topped with an entablature. There is a separate entrance that has a similar wooden case, featuring a six-panel door and a fanlight above. This building is part of a group of structures of architectural significance.
