Description

The garden niche located at the front of Number 8 is a likely late 18th-century feature associated with the Ferriby House estates. It is constructed from irregular limestone rubble and presents as a freestanding semi-domed recess designed in a rusticated grotto style. This niche serves as an interesting garden element, positioned near the site of a former obelisk, which has since been demolished.
