Description
These cart-sheds, located approximately 7 metres to the north-east of the Bloodstock Stables, were built around 1830 and feature later additions and alterations. They were constructed for Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Baronet. The building is made of reddish-pink brick arranged in English garden wall bond and has a pantile roof. It consists of a single tall storey with 7 bays. The end entrances are plank doors set beneath round arches, while the main façade displays a 5-bay arcade of elliptically arched openings. The roof is swept and hipped, topped with ashlar ridge tiles. Inside, there is a king-post roof.
