Description

The windmill at Yapham Grange is a late 18th-century structure that has been raised. It is built of red brick, which was previously tarred. The original design featured a tapering tower with three storeys, which was later extended by an additional two storeys that are almost cylindrical in shape. The building has four-pane windows set under segmental brick arches and a stepped brick cornice. Currently, the windmill is roofless and has been disused and derelict at the time of the last survey.
