Description

A handsome windmill of the tower type, dating from 1824, situated within a farmyard. The building is constructed of tarred brick, rising to four storeys and a platform above. It features a pointed cap made of metal sheets, a wooden cornice beneath, and a mushroom-shaped finial. A fantail remains intact, while the sweeps are present but without their original shutters. Pointed windows with Gothic panes are visible on the first and second floors, and circular windows on the third floor. A handsome doorway is present, with narrow pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and double doors. The windmill has been converted into a residence.
