Description
The Nancy public house is a late 18th-century establishment that incorporates an earlier building. It features a red brick exterior that has been colour-washed, topped with a pantiled roof. The left section of the building is two storeys high with three bays. On the ground floor, there are sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has two 16-pane sashes with sills. The building has a stepped brick eaves cornice and tumbled-in brick at the raised gables, along with end stacks. The right section is a single storey with attics and consists of four bays. This part has a scattered arrangement of 20th-century boarded doors and windows, also with glazing bars, and includes four roof dormers featuring sliding sashes. There are axial and end stacks, as well as raised gables.
