Description

The pigeon house at Chatt House is a structure built between 1839 and 1840. It is made of brown brick with grey brick dressings and features a slate roof. The building has a square plan and stands two storeys tall. A central boarded door is located beneath a cambered gauged-brick arch. There is a band at the first floor level, where 14-pane windows are set under round gauged brick arches. The roof is pyramidal and includes a louvre with pigeon holes, topped by a weather vane.
