Description

Freestone House is a house built in the late 18th century. The main elevation features coursed squared rubble, while the ends are also made of coursed rubble, with the right end rendered. The rear of the house is constructed from red brick. The gables were rebuilt using 19th-century engineering brick, and the roof is covered with pantiles. The house has two storeys and a symmetrical three-bay elevation. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, flanked on both sides by four-pane sash windows with sills under wedge lintels. On the first floor, there are three additional four-pane sash windows, also with sills and wedge lintels. The house has end stacks and plain close verges.
