Description
All Hallows House, which incorporates a former chapel to the left, is a late 18th-century building that combines a chapel and a terrace of houses into one residence. It features orange brick in English garden wall bond and a pantiled roof. The main house is two storeys high with seven bays, arranged as 1:1:5. The entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels with an over-light that has glazing bars, set within an architrave. The windows throughout are 16-pane sashes with sills, placed under segmental brick arches. On the first floor, there are 16-pane sashes with sills in bays one, two, and three, and similar sashes under segmental heads in bays five and seven. Bays four and six have oculi with intersecting glazing bars. The building has axial and end stacks and plain close verges.
To the left is the chapel, also late 18th century but remodelled in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of red brick in irregular bond and has a pantiled roof. This section is one storey high with three bays. The central entrance features a panelled round-headed door flanked by pointed sashes with intersecting glazing bars, and there is an oculus with intersecting glazing bars above the door.
