Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with a remodelling of the ground floor in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with pantiled roofs and stone slate roofs to the bay windows. The house has a central direct entry and a rear outshut. The main elevation is two storeys and attics, with a symmetrical design and three bays. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with an oblong fanlight, set within a wooden architrave and beneath a flat gauged brick arch. Canted bay windows flank the entrance, each with 16-pane sashes. First-floor windows are also sash windows with glazing bars, set within wooden architraves and under flat gauged brick arches. A dentilled brick eaves cornice runs along the top of the house, and there are end stacks. The gables are raised and coped.
