Description
This house, located about 95 metres west of the Church of Saint Andrew, has origins dating back to the 18th century and was remodelled in the early 19th century. It features a construction of chalk blocks with brick patching and a pantiled roof, arranged in an L-shaped plan. The main part of the house is one storey high with attics and has a five-window front, along with a later rear wing. The central entrance has a 19th-century door with glazing bars, while a four-panel service door is positioned to the right. The first and third bays contain 20-pane sash windows, the second bay has a 16-pane sash window, the fourth bay features a 20th-century bow window, and the fifth bay has a four-pane sash window. The raised gables are finished with tumbled-in brick, and there are end and axial stacks. The later two-storey rear wing has a similar style, with 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor and casements with glazing bars on the first floor.
