Description

Sunnycroft is a house built in 1826 by William Clark and George Shepherdson of Driffield. It is constructed of white brick with stucco dressings and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a radial fanlight set in panelled reveals, and is flanked by an Ionic porch. The bays are defined by pilaster strips. The windows are twelve-pane sashes set in reveals with sills under wedge lintels. There is a patterned band at the first floor, with similar sashes above. The eaves cornice adds to the architectural detail, and the hipped roof is topped with corniced end stacks.
