Description

Clackna Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, rendered, and has a pantiled roof. The building features a central direct entry plan and stands two storeys high with three bays. It has a plinth and a six-panel door set within a pilastered doorcase that includes a pediment. This door is flanked by 16-pane sash windows with sills. On the first floor, there is a band, and above the door, there is a sash window with glazing bars, flanked by two additional 16-pane sashes, one on each side. The farmhouse has end stacks and raised gables.
