Description

Nos 27 and 29 Highgate is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a slate roof and stone-coped gables. The eaves feature a wooden gutter supported by moulded console brackets adorned with carved paterae. Each of the upper floors has two windows with flat arched heads that are marked as voussoirs, and there is a painted stone cill band at the first floor. The entrances are framed by stone doorcases with applied Tuscan columns and entablatures. The doors themselves have panelled reveals with six sunk panels and are topped by three-light rectangular fanlights. The building also has a stone plinth.
