Description

This is a 19th-century pillar box located on the pavement by the garden gate of number 12, New Walk in Beverley. It has a cylindrical shape with a fluted frieze and a segment-headed top. The box is embossed with 'VR' and the maker's name 'A Handyside & Co Ltd, Derby and London'.
