Description

This early to mid-19th century pair of buildings, numbers 55 and 57 North Bar Without, Beverley, is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The front features four windows, each with a moulded surround and no glazing bars. Two two-storey canted bays flank two windows. The bays have carved mullions. A porch features wood pilasters carved to match the mullions, and a dentil cornice. The porch has double half-glazed doors and a three-light fanlight. A later window to the right has four mullioned and transomed lights.
