Description
Prenton Hall (East) is a house that is part of the original Prenton Hall Farmhouse, which has been subdivided. It dates mainly from the late 18th century and is constructed from coursed and squared stone with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two and three storeys. The main block, which has a two-window range, faces east and features a pedimented side gable that balances the gable of Prenton Hall (West) and is connected to the adjacent house by a lower entrance block. There is a five-panelled door and a 16-pane sash window next to it, both with flat arched heads and voussoirs, along with a blind window above. The pedimented gable on the right is advanced and includes a 16-pane sash window on each floor, with a 12-pane sash in the attic storey. The gable is accented with a string course and has an oculus at the apex. To the east, there is a two-bay return elevation followed by a lower single unit, which is a two-storeyed roughcast wing. The building features an axial stack.
