Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from 1683, as indicated by the datestone reading "M I A/1683". It was renovated in the 1830s by R. B. Rampling. The building is constructed of brick and stone with plaster, topped by a slate roof.
It has two storeys with two bays and an extension to the right that has one storey and one bay, along with a 20th-century summer house at the right return. The house features a stone base and coped gables. The windows are three-light single chamfered mullioned with small-paned casements, while the extension has a horizontally sliding sash window. The entrance includes a gabled porch and a wide-boarded door with strap hinges. The rear of the house is brick, with the end bay stuccoed and a band over the ground floor. The rear windows are sashed with glazing bars, and there is a central cruciform brick stack. A stone garden wall is present at the front of the property.
