Description

Nook Cottage and The Nook are two houses dating from the late 17th century. They are constructed of painted stone rubble and brick on a bedrock base, topped with a thatched roof. The buildings are one storey high with an attic and feature six irregular bays. The third and fourth bays have two-light single-chamfered-mullioned windows, while the other windows are small-paned casements. An eyebrow dormer is present on the third bay, and the entrance is located at the rear. There are two brick stacks. Nook Cottage has 19th-century bays added to the right.
