Description
The Church Hall, originally a village reading room, was built in 1883. It features a combination of rock-faced stone and timber framing, topped with a tiled roof. The building is one storey high with a basement and consists of three bays. The basement includes 2:1:3-light windows with chambered mullions. The entrance is located in a porch on the right side and has a shouldered lintel. The ground floor juts out, showcasing a central five-light canted oriel window with a gable and brackets, flanked by two-light windows. All windows are fitted with small-paned casements and diamond glazing above the transoms. The gabled porch on the right side has an entrance with windows on either side. This building is included for its group value.
