Description

This is a terrace of six houses at 24-34 Pool Bank, Port Sunlight, built in 1907 by Grayson and Ould. The houses are constructed with pebbledash rendering over brick, feature brick dressings, and have a tile roof with timber-framed gables. They are one storey high with an attic, spanning 12 bays.

The houses have a brick base, and deep eaves that return to form porches supported by braced posts at each end. The windows are small-paned casements. The ground floor has a central canted bay window with paired three-light windows. The second and eleventh bays feature four-light canted bay windows, while the other bays have three-light windows. The attic has central raking roof dormers with paired two-light windows, flanked by gabled dormers, also with paired two-light windows. At the ends are flat-topped roof dormers with two-light windows. The round-headed entrances have paired doors with lunettes above. There are three stacks positioned across the terrace. Benches are positioned to flank the canted bay windows. The rear elevation is similar and features half-dormers.
