Description

Nos. 9 to 13 on Lower Road are three houses built in 1901 by architects Wilson and Talbot. The houses feature roughcast exteriors on a brick base and have hipped tile roofs. They are two storeys high with three gabled bays. Each house has prominent 5-light, 2-storey bowed windows with leaded casements. The entrances are framed by stone surrounds and flat canopies, leading to four-panel doors that also have leaded lights. The side returns include entrances and rear gabled bays, while the rear of the houses is similar, featuring half-dormers.
