Description

This is a terrace of seven houses located in Port Sunlight, Bebington. Numbers 31 to 35 were originally built in 1899, were destroyed during the war, and subsequently rebuilt around 1950. The terrace was designed by Wilson and Talbot. The construction is of pebbledash with stone dressings, and it has a tile roof.

The houses are two storeys high, with seven bays, the outer bays projecting forward under gables. They have a stone base up to sill level. The windows have flat mullions and drip moulds, with leaded glazing, most being four-light windows. The third and fifth bays at each end feature bow windows of five lights, while the end bays on the second storey also have five-light windows. The first floor of the third and fifth bays have five-light windows. Entrances with round brick surrounds are located in the third, fourth, and fifth bays, while the second and sixth bays feature elliptical-headed surrounds with triple keys; all entrances have plank doors with small-paned windows above. There are eight chimney stacks.

The rear elevation is similar, with gabled ends and some privies.
