Description
A terrace of five houses built in 1901 by Ernest George and Yeates, located on the east side of Greendale Road within Port Sunlight, Bebington. The buildings are constructed primarily of brick, with the first floor rendered in roughcast, and have a tile roof. They are arranged over two storeys and five bays, with the central three bays projecting forward under hipped gables. A timber band and a drip mould run over the ground floor, and a cornice is present around the central bays. The windows feature small-paned casements of five lights. The first-floor end bays incorporate three-light, flat-topped half dormers. Recessed entrances are present, with those at the angles of the central section featuring posts, and the doors themselves include small-paned lights. Four chimney stacks are positioned across the facade, each with corbelled caps and hipped tile roofing. The rear elevation is similarly designed, with three gables and privies.
