Description

The cross in the estate boundary wall of Crosby Hall is a stone slab dating from the 18th century. Made of sandstone, the rectangular slab is approximately one metre high and features a raised cross. Its purpose is unknown, but it likely served to inform passers-by of the nearby medieval cross located a few metres away in the grounds of Crosby Hall, which is situated behind the boundary wall.
