Terrace of 12 houses.

Built between 1836 and 1846. Stucco with slate roof. Two storeys with basement, two bays to each house. Symmetrical composition in which end 2 houses project, central two houses break forward under pediment. Basement lintel band, first floor lintel band and top cornice, the ends with parapets. Recessed bays have channelled rustication to ground floor. Windows are sashed with glazing bars, those to projecting bays have shouldered architraves. Entrances have flat architraves and cornices, overlights and four-panel doors, all except those to Nos. 16 and 30 are paired. Pediment has tympanum painted with arabesques; painted plaque underneath reads: "SANDOWN TERRACE/RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION/1984".
