Description
79, 81, and 83 Seel Street are three houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and have a slate roof. Number 79 is finished in stucco and features three storeys, with four bays, while numbers 81 and 83 each have three bays. All the windows are fitted with wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars; number 79 has casement windows on the ground floor. The second bay of number 79 includes a round-headed entrance framed by a Doric aedicule. Numbers 81 and 83 have an inserted cart entrance and a round-headed entrance to the right, which is adorned with Composite aedicules that feature urn motifs on the dosserets.
