Description
The Methodist Chapel, originally built as a Methodist Sunday School in 1904, is a single-storey structure made of red brick and yellow terracotta, topped with a slate roof. The building features a three-bay central section with a pedimented panel and ball finials on either side. There are lower flanking bays and end porches, all covered by hipped roofs. The design includes sill bands, a top frieze, and a cornice. Round-headed windows are adorned with archivolts, impost bands, and keys. The central bays have small two-light windows, while the flanking bays feature panelled aprons. The entrances are highlighted with flat architraves, with panels inscribed "BOYS" and "GIRLS." Above the central entrance, there is a panel that reads "SUNDAY SCHOOL." The roof is also equipped with two ogival ventilators.
