Description

The Lester Monument is a memorial dedicated to Canon T. Major Lester, who passed away in 1903. It was erected in 1907 and designed by George Frampton. The monument features a bronze figure of Lester standing and holding a child, set upon a square stone pedestal. Canon Lester was known for founding child charities in Liverpool.
