Description
This building is a terrace of houses located at 134-170 Smithdown Lane, dating from the early 19th century. The structure is made of red brick with painted stone dressings and stands three stories tall. There is a raised and painted band at the cill level of the first floor and an eaves cornice at the top. Each house is single-fronted and consists of two bays. The ground and first floors feature 6/6 sash windows, while the smaller attic windows also have sashes. The doors are framed with moulded architraves, some of which have decorative corbels, and plain fan-lights are positioned above them. In the right-hand part of the terrace, blank panels replace the windows on both storeys above the entrance doors.
